Human Resources Assistant- Knoxville

Description:The HR Assistant supports the organization's mission, vision and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, personalization, commitment, accountability and ownership.
Duties:The HR Assistant assists the Human Resources department with duties as assigned, including:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assisting with the day to day efficient operations of HR
2. Acts as HR contact for clients with below 15 employees
3. Ensure HR files are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and company policy
4. Onsite client visits to ensure compliance with clientís employee files
5. Assist with client/employee relations
6. Completes miscellaneous research, reports, and memos as requested
7. Ensure system records are accurately recorded and cross checked
8. Maintains online benefit system and ensuring that all candidates are enrolled timely and that premiums calculations are calculated correctly
9. Enters deductions into the payroll system
10. Maintain 401-K eligibility list and tracks notifications
11. Maintains spreadsheets including; Client Details, Visitation Log, Client Process Binder
12. Able to react to change productively and handle all other duties/essential tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:Bachelorís Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration is preferred; and three to four years of experience in Human Resources; and/or equivalent education or experience in job related activities.
